311 City Services

The City of Chicago's 311 System is primarily intended to serve as the point of entry for residents, business owners and visitors requesting non-emergency City services from any and all City departments.

The mission of 311 City Services telecommunication and Customer Service Request System is to:

  • Provide the public with easy access to City programs, services and events;
  • Record and efficiently document all requests for non-emergency City services and forward them to the proper agencies;
  • Assist City departments, governmental and non-governmental agencies deliver improved customer service and manage resources more efficiently;
  • Monitor and provide consistent, essential performance management reports and analysis of City services delivery;
